Experience Summary

I have worked in the public school system fro 5 years. I have worked as a Deaf Educator and also as an Intervention Specialist for grades K-12. I have been a private tutor for 2 years and have helped parents gain a library of resources for their children. I have and currently work with students who have a variety of needs such has behavior, ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Delay and other health impairments.

Teaching Style

My teaching style changes for the needs of the student. I can teach using direct instruction, self inquiry/discovery learning, cooperative learning. I use any all communication when teaching the Deaf, including ASL (American Sign Language) and SEE (Signed Exact English).

My Hobbies

I enjoy musical theater and being with my family.

I have a duel Masters in Deaf Education and also in Intervention. I have taught students who are D/HH from ages 7-21. I have been teaching children with special needs for 5 years.
