Experience Summary
From age seven, I have had a passion for teaching and public speaking. I am involved with a continuing education program that hones speaking and teaching ability. In high school, I helped to pilot and served as captain of the Speech and Debate team (National Forensics League). I also worked as a Teacher Cadet.
I took four years to volunteer at an educational center after high school where I completed an advanced course in public speaking. I was a full-time volunteer minister for 15 years total, and I dedicated much time to working with troubled and at-risk youths. For a year, I volunteered with Lapsits for Literacy.
I have experience teaching in English and Spanish, and I have certificates to teach English and Spanish to speakers of other languages from the highly regarded Canadian Institute of English.

ACTIVE!!! The focus is on FUN and changing gears. The brain wants activity. Give the brain what it wants!
My Hobbies
Music (piano, harmonica, guitar) and Chess.
