Experience Summary
I am not your normal accountant or teacher! My hobbies include playing, coaching and refereeing rugby- not your normal accountant hobbies! I am a laid back professional accountant with over 25 years of Public, Private and consulting accounting experience and over 7 years of Graduate-level accounting-teaching experience. I am a life-long learner with a B.S. in Accounting, MBA degree and CPA, CGMA and CMA certifications.
My teaching experience includes both traditional classroom teaching and internet delivery of both financial and management graduate level accounting courses. I was awarded a faculty award for outstanding achievement while developing the universities first internet financial and management accounting on-line courses.
My accounting experience includes public accounting with both regional and national Big 4 accounting firms and private and consulting accounting with exposure to numerous different industries and clients from small mom & pop companies to Fortune 100 companies.
My Excel experience predates Excel and goes back to Lotus 1-2-3 and follows my professional accounting experience. Excel and accounting are intimately connected and I have learned many tricks and found many ways to improve my efficiency. I have developed menu driven macros and simple templates that increase my daily efficiency and can improve yours!
I love accounting and Excel and thoroughly enjoy passing on my knowledge to students at all levels.
I believe flexibility is important in tutoring and understand cancellations, I have a 3-hour cancellation policy and want you to be satisfied, 100% satisfaction is my objective!
