Experience Summary
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in print, online and broadcast journalism from Pepperdine University in May 2015. I intend to pursue a Master’s degree in journalism from USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism this fall.
Studying the ever-changing world of journalism has allowed me to continually adapt and approach each job with a creative and innovative mindset. My previous positions at the Pepperdine University Graphic have allowed me to hone my journalism and newsroom management skills.
My two internships with NBC4 Southern California have helped me become a more prompt and concise news writer. Deadly bus crashes, wildfires and police pursuits are a few scenarios I’ve encountered and covered during my shifts.
Whether my writing and reporting is featured as ink on paper or transmitted digitally, core journalism and storytelling skills remain steadfast.
