Are you or someone you know learning to speak Chinese and need homework help or someone to practice conversation with? Are you looking for an alternative to the average babysitter and want your kids to actually learn something while you're away? Then look no further!
I am a near native Mandarin speaker who lived broad for over 8 years in Taiwan. I hold a bachelor degree in Mandarin Teaching and Translation from Taiwan National Normal University (a teacher's college in Taipei, Taiwan).
I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages! I taught elementary school English in Taiwan and volunteered as a camp counselor for many years. I'm also the eldest of 5 children and have experience with young children as well!
Availability:
> Monday & Thursday mornings before 11:00am
> Tuesdays and Wednesdays all day
> I am not available on the weekends.
Pricing:
> $20.00 an hour for "bilingual" babysitting
> $30.00 an hour per child/person for structured Mandarin Lessons (Teaching material provided!)
> $15.00 an hour for Mandarin homework help and/or conversation practice.
I do have references, however they all reside overseas in Taiwan where I use to live. I do currently work as both an instructor and the Education Coordinator at the International Performing Arts Academy, Chicago. I work with kids everyday!
