Experience Summary
As a student I was always helping my friends and brothers with their school work, especially math. While in graduate school working on my Masters degree I tutored for the athletic department and even tutored some of my classmates who were college professors working on their PhD's. I have been a college teacher for more than 5 years and started doing private tutoring over 2 years ago.
Teaching Style
Teaching style varies by student and by subject, and even varies according to my level of skill in the subject matter. I have been told that I make things that are confusing or hard to understand easy, and I love that 'I see' look in a student's eyes.
My Hobbies
I love trivia games and like pretty much any competitive game, especially chess, spades, and Texas Hold'em. I am a big Texas Tech Red Raider athletics fan especially football, basketball and baseball.
Other Comments
I charge $35 for most hour sessions but am willing to negotiate for regularly scheduled lessons, for longer lessons, and for any lesson you might feel was not worth the money to you.
