Experience Summary
I'm a classical piano performance major at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. I've been playing piano for 13 years, violin for 10, and Guzheng (Chinese zither) for 6 years. I am a very good accompanist and I love collaborative work. I am fluent in musical notation software (Sibelius) and I've recently composed the soundtrack to my school's play: Radium Girls. I can also tutor music theory; I received a 5 on my AP exam and I passed the highest test level for NVTMA.
Teaching Style
Interactive; I make sure my students understand every aspect of what I teach and I am very patient.

| I've been taking music theory classes for 9 years. I am especially good at ear training as I have perfect pitch. I can also teach my students how to understand the music they play by digging into the technical and musical side of the piece. |

I have been playing piano for 13 years and I can help students of all ages improve their keyboard skills and become more well-rounded musicians. I not only teach the instrument, I can teach my students how to practice and how to understand the music they play on a different level. While I may be young and not as experienced, I know I can greatly improve my student's musical abilities and awareness. |

| While violin is not my main instrument, I can still teach basic skills and technique and I can also teach practicing tactics to make practicing more efficient. I also make sure my students have music theory knowledge because I believe it is important to not only be able to play the instrument, but to understand the music you play. |
