Experience Summary
I was a private math tutor (had my own business) for 3 years; I tutored anywhere from 6th grade to college undergraduate in math and science. Had 4 tutors working under me. Although I've since left the field full-time, I still will occasionally tutor on the side. I very much enjoy teaching and mentoring people, so they can become the best, most educated versions of themselves.
Teaching Style
I like to get to know the student, as both a person and a learner, at first and throughout the lessons. I tailor everything to the specific student, and realize no two are exactly the same. If I feel the student needs more concentrated help, I will give additional practice lessons/problems in accordance with their current homework assignments (if applicable) and comprehension level.
My Hobbies
Swimming, working out, watching Netflix, listening to music, programming/coding for various purposes (both in high level languages and web development), trying new food.
