Experience Summary
I have always had a strong passion for languages and perhaps because of this have done extensive traveling. I have lived in several countries and speak several languages. In my adventures I have found time and again that the easiest, most effortless and fastest way to learn a language is to immerse oneself in that culture. Why? Because it is not enough to remember that "arrivederci" translates to "goodbye." Rather, to really know the inside of a language one must also know and understand its people and the culture it comes from.
Teaching Style
I truly believe conversation is the best way to learn a new language. There are many people who study grammer and vocabulary on paper for years, but when they are finally put in a real situation in which they are required to speak the language, all of their training fails them because they never did the most basic and important thing, which is to practice making the sounds with your mouth, practice saying the new words, practice actually using the new grammer structures.

I am a dancer, cook, harpist, travel enthusiast...I am pursuing my career in the hospitality industry.
