Experience Summary
I am in my third year studying music education at The College of New Jersey. Currently, I am studying with Kathleen Mitchell, the Principal Second Saxophone with Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia since 1994. (http://music.pages.tcnj.edu/mitchell-kathleen/) I have been actively taking lessons, studying, and performing saxophone pedagogy for +10 years. I have given numerous performances during my collegiate career and have an extensive knowledge of diverse saxophone and woodwind repertoires. In addition to solo performances, I perform regularly with The College of New Jersey’s premier saxophone quartet and wind ensemble. I am highly proficient on the instruments and can give lessons on all saxophones, baritone, tenor, alto, and soprano. I make an effort to attend saxophone conferences, symposiums, and performances as often as possible. I was able to attend the 2014 North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) Conference hosted by the University of Illinois, as well as, the 2105 Navy Band Saxophone Symposium hosted by Shenandoah University. I am highly dedicated and passionate about teaching students who desire to obtain a greater knowledge of the instrument.
