Experience Summary
During my 23 years as an elementary school teacher, I concurrently taught ESL at night. My entire career has been working with diverse populations. I am currently in my 28th year teaching ESL.I also taught 8 years of Gifted classes. During my professional career, I took numerous professional development workshops in order to stay in tune with current educational trends. I have taught many remedial subjects and intervention programs.
Teaching Style
I believe in making students as comfortable as possible in their learning environment. I practice collaboration, cooperative learning and class participation. One on One teaching is very individualized.
My Hobbies
Reading, traveling and my 5 year old grandson.
