Math//
I was a middle and high school math tutor from 1991 to 1995, after which time I taught mathematics in high schools in Iran from 1995 to 1997. I have over 7 years of experience in teaching math, and over 15 years of experience with the education system in Iran.
My qualifications for tutoring include teaching pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry.
I passed "Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure (MTEL)". The strong mathematics and academic skills that I possess will allow me to perform the job requirements necessary for teaching with professionalism. Not only that, I have strong computer and communication skills, plus extensive time management experience, and I am detailed-oriented.
Farsi/Persian////
I was born and raised in Iran and my primary language is Farsi. I can speak, write and read fluently in Farsi. I have been taught Persian language and literature. This includes, teaching to those who want to learn Farsi as beginner, intermediate and advanced.
For the beginner, my focus will be on teaching how to read and write Farsi Alphabet and simple words. Also, listening to Persian songs.
For the intermediate my focus will be on reading short stories and writing and working on songs and watching Persian cartoons.
For the advanced students, I will focus on reading writing and grammar. We will work on short essays and conversation and watch movies.
I love teaching and I love students to learn about this fascinating culture and Persian civilization. Through learning Persian language, students can explore the Persian culture deeper. I tailor my teaching methods based on the student's learning style and needs. I help my student develop the appropriate skill set to further learn the Persian language and be able to apply it in real world.
I have bachelor's in Chemistry and I have taught for over 7 years.
