I have taught ESL (reading, writing, composition, speaking, grammar, listening, and pronunciation) for over 10 years in both community college and major research universities, including M.I.T., Boston University, and Tufts, where I focused on expository writing. Prior to teaching, I worked as an international project manager for the software development industry in California. I am fluent in German, having studied as a Fulbright/DAAD scholar in Classics after graduating from George Washington University. As a classics major, I continued my studies in Latin from my secondary school instruction, and in total have 11 years in that language.
