Experience Summary
I'm a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where I recieved by BFA in Studio Art. I'm currently a free-lance graphic designer and owner/operator of my own online Etsy shop. I love the every subject, from art to math and science, which has given me a well-rounded outlook on life. I'd love to share this love of learning with anyone who needs help!
Teaching Style
I'm interested in using visuals, audio and/or hands-on learning as needed for each student to get the most out of their experiences. My mom, two aunts and grandmother are teachers and I've learned so much from each of them. A positive attitude and getting to know students one-on-one is a great way to open up the learning process. I want any subject, even the ones students may not feel secure in, to be fun and rewarding.
My Hobbies
I'm an advocate of healthy living, so going to the gym and preparing food at home are big hobbies of mine. I love art and jewelry design, and run an online store at withloveAbella.etsy.com where these hobbies begin to intersect. I love the outdoors and just having a good time.
