Experience Summary
In addition to having over 16 years of accounting experience, I also possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. I am also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), which I have been informed is the equivalent of the CPA in the USA. In order to become FCCA you are required to be a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for six years.
I’m currently, working on obtaining the CPA qualification in Georgia. I have a vast amount of experience in creating financial statements, such as income and expense statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, billing, payroll and forecasting. I have worked for very small to very large companies. So, I have experience from the basics of posting accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices, all the way up to producing the financial statements.
I have had to produce financial information on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and yearly basis. So, whatever reporting preferences that may be required, I will be more than able to demonstrate. My experience has made me realize that accounting requires a number of skills, such as the ability to cope with a wide variety of tasks; effectively multitask; analyze large volumes of complex data; the ability to work alone and within a team; to work under pressure; produce information to tight/strict deadlines; produce timely and accurate information; and communicate effectively (either verbally or written) with others at all levels within a company.
