Experience Summary
I have over 14 years experience as an Assistant Intervention Certified Teacher and Tutor in Georgia. I specialize in teaching children to read in Elementary Education grades Pre K through 3rd grades. I started as a substitute teacher and Tutor in grades Pre K through 12th grade in 1999. I currently teach Kindergarten and Tutor grades K through 5th in an Expeditionary Learning School. I teach rigorous academic content and real world projects called Learning Expeditions( My students learn by hands on experiences). I also love teaching Elementary Math aligned with the Georgia Common Core Performance Standards.I have successfully taught hundreds of children many which learn English as a Second Language (ESOL) to read or improve their Reading or Math skills.
