For the past 10 years, I've been a licensed teacher in private vocational schools. I have an associate degree in electro-mechanical technology and 25 years of industrial experience. Many years ago, I earned a GED diploma. As a teacher, I have helped students who had trouble with basic reading and math skills that the new TASC high school diploma test requires. |
In my lessons, I generally start with a review of basic arithmetic in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. After that, I move on to pre-algebra with fractions, decimals, integers, number lines, logarithms and exponents. I cover the metric system and basic equations of algebra. |
