Experience Summary
Hi! I am available during the summer or after school during the school year for help with anything you need! Well, not ANYTHING (I wish I was that qualified), but most things, such as prepping for standardized tests or going over school work at the elementary, middle, or high school level.
A little about myself. I'm 29 years old. I got a 1510 (verbal 710, math 800) on the SATs back in the day (when it was scored out of 1600), I graduated from Columbia University with a major in Chemical Engineering. I've been through a couple of different jobs working as an engineer, a management consultant, a humanitarian aid worker, and most recently a teacher at a learning center.
I've had experience tutoring high school students with their SAT's, as well as homework help for middle school students. I really enjoyed myself while tutoring, and have recently been thinking about pursuing a career in teaching soon. I love helping students gain confidence and finding belief in themselves and reaching those moments of glory when they achieve something that they've worked so hard towards.
I'm a pretty friendly and fun person (I'd like to think), but also very dedicated, so if that is the kind of tutor you are looking for, then let's try something out!
