Experience Summary
I am a special education teacher in JCPS. I have taught students with learning and behavior disorders, as well as students with autism, and more severe disorders. I have my bachelors in education-learning and behavior disorders, as well as my Masters in Teacher Leadership with a Moderate and Severe Disorders Certification. I also have experience in the general classroom. I have taught grades K-4 as well as 6-8; I currently teach in a middle school. I have been tutoring since I was in college. My students end up performing much better in their academic areas as well as gain self confidence throughout my tutoring time with them.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very engaging, positive, and relaxed. I want my students to feel comfortable with me so I can help them grow to their greatest potential.
