Experience Summary

I have a BS Degree in Mathematics and have completed graduate course work in Mathematics. I have 13 years experience as a certified Math Teacher. I provide one on one customized tutoring in person and on the computer using the internet. I tutor grades K-12, adult education, online classes, and provide homework help. I can also provide tutoring assistance for students with different learning styles and special education needs. The K-12 tutoring includes Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Math I, Math II, Statistics, and test preparation for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT exams. I also tutor Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Reading Comprehension and Spelling. The adult education tutoring includes the GED, ASVAB, Praxis - Math, College Math, GRE Math and Nursing exams.

Teaching Style

I give the students a skills assessment to identify which concepts they need assistance with. I help the students improve their grades at school by working with them on those concepts in addition to helping them with the concepts they are currently working on in school. I also provide help with homework and online classes. I provide one on one tutoring to the students according to their learning style. I can also tutor students that have special needs. I am patient, understanding, and dedicated to helping the students learn.
