Experience Summary
As a teacher, I have many years of experience teaching private lessons and in public schools, including PS290, WHEELS, and the CUNY Harmony Program. I have played and worked as a jazz saxophonist with Jon Faddis, Dave Liebman, Jim McNeely, Steve Slagle, Dana Hall, Jim Pugh, Chip McNeil, and many more. As a guitarist, I have studied with Anne Wahler and Jim Konsbruck, and attended Northwestern University's NHSME summer program. I have played in the pit for many musicals, and have 2 years of experience in the film composing industry.
Teaching Style
I cater my lessons to the interests of my students! I believe that music education not only enriches life musically, but also helps to build self-esteem, work-ethic, and self-discipline.
