While I was there, I studied all aspects of the design field. My skills go way beyond the computer screen; though I am fully educated in the Adobe Master Suite programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Flash, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.) I have achieved recognition for my academics by becoming a member of the XAE Honor Society. From all I have learned and accomplished in school and in my freelance work, I feel I am an ideal candidate for this position. While interning with Premier Brands of America Inc., I saw firsthand what it takes to work for a packaging design firm. Working with such companies as C.V.S and Walgreens I had to be very precise with the way the artwork is to be laid out. The work was then presented to the client for final review. With this type of work, I know I have what it takes to bring my design ideas to a whole new level. I am extraordinarily passionate about learning, growing, creating and given the opportunity, I feel I would be an asset to the team. I do not hold anything back nor do I follow any trends. I find these fads to be clones of what other designers are doing at that time. When I create my own work, I look into my heart and mind, which is why my designs are striking and original. Drawing is the fundament part of any artist. Even in today’s cyber world an artist still needs to know how to draw on paper with a drawing instrument. I have taken many drawing classes throughout my life to make me stronger as an artist, and I want to help you become a stronger artist as well.
