Other Comments
I do not expect my students to want to become professional musicians, although a percentage do continue towards a professional career. I will always give an honest assessment of the work done for each lesson, yet emphasize the improvements and work to help the student hear and fully understand the progress they are making. My job is to teach you how to teach yourself, eventually making you more confident of your decisions and trusting your intuition. To acquire this a desire to listen carefully and take honest criticism is essential.
