Experience Summary
Sept. 1987 to February 1988-
Substitute teacher for San Diego Unified Schools.
During this time I instructed all areas of curriculum in grades Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.I also worked in many GATE and Seminar classes during this period.
May 1988 to January 1989-
Tutor at Windsor Learning Center Inc.
At Windsor I planned and executed learning programs for First through Sixth Grade students. I also taught students how to use the Apple IIE computer and to use educational software.
Summer 1994 and 1995-
Unit Leader of Science Camp at UC Jewish Community Center where I developed and implemented an all science based curriculum while working with mixed age-group campers in an all day program.
February 1988 to Present-
Contracted teacher for San Diego Unified School District.
During this time I have taught all areas of curriculum in grades First through Fourth. I have served as Science Representative for over 15 years at Curie Elementary and helped to create a highly successful Science Committee on site.
June 1995-August 2012-
Worked as an instructor at Gateways Summer School teaching Physics and Astronomy for children ages 7-10.

My teaching style varies with the student. Ultimately I use what works.
