Experience Summary

Instructed Math I and Math III classes in the Atlanta Public School System for one year. There I sought professional development opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness; managed classroom behavior; met with parents regarding students’ academic and behavioral performances; planned lessons, assigned homework; created tests, quizzes, activities, and worksheets; tutored students after class. In addition, I Instructed an SAT Preparatory math class and a refresher math course to adults at Atlanta Metropolitan College, Department of Continuing Education.

Teaching Style

True teaching is a student centered endeavor. Instruction should be adapted to fit the student’s distinctive form of comprehension. The opportunity to exercise minds and the challenge accompanying that goal is at the heart of my motivation to teach; All people enjoy learning.
