Experience Summary
I have taught English, Chinese and Business Management for over nine years. I am a public speaker. I use PPT presentations. I have worked for Omega Zinc Powders, Hualing Steel, Huitong Steel and Liling Ceramics and Steel, all in Hunan Province. I have spoken in universities and hotels about artificial languages, including Klingon (which I speak fluently). I have taught English at Central South University, at Hunan International Economics University and and Birmingham International English School for five years. I contribute to local newspapers.
Teaching Style
I teach immersion language arts with physical response. I have created numerous short stories for both children and adults as part of curriculum development. I teach academic English using perfect grammar, not common street talk. My aim is to get you hired by top corporations.
My Hobbies
I play chess with a B rating (approximately 1650). I love animals. I hike often. I no longer do rock-climbing. I write every day for at least two hours, sometimes poetry. I attend many language arts workshops.
