Experience Summary
I taught advanced high school mathematics at McKinney Christian Academy for five years (2005 - 2010). This involved the following classes: AP Calculus AB, Honors PreCalculus, and Advanced Algebra II. In addition, I have tutored students for the PSAT Math, ACT Math, SAT Math, SAT-1 Math, and SAT-2 Math.
Teaching Style
I have a calm, amiable personality and achieve results by being enthusiastic and building up students so that they feel good about their math abilities. I like to explain math concepts via visual aids (graphs, pictures, charts, diagrams) and an extensive number of examples.
