Experience Summary
I have taught English/Language Arts for 34 years on the secondary level.I also am nationally trained in SAT prep and have developed and taught the verbal portion with great student success. During my career I have taught reading, literature, poetry, Shakespeare, creative writing, British and American lit as well as middle school language arts.
Teaching Style
I favor a hands on approach to learning where students set reasonable goals that are able to be met with success.I see my role as a facilitator.
My Hobbies
I am an avid reader with a strong interest in theater and creative writing.
Other Comments
Although I have retired and moved to Georgia I still keep up with all new curriculum modifications.
