Taught Grades 3-6 over a 35 year career successfuly with great feedback from students, parents, and administration. Love teaching all subject areas at the elementary school level. Education: BS.ED in English and minor in education; At least 60 hours beyond my Masters in School Administration in various subject areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Animal science.
Teaching Style
Prefer to facilitate learning and provide more hands on activities. Try to connect reading with writing as the two subjects are very much intertwined in the skills they take. Great at teaching across the curriculum to help students in subject areas that require reading of nonfiction
My Hobbies
reading, writing, bike riding, water aerobics, walking, cooking. Love visiting the zoo and the local forest preserves.
