Experience Summary
I have my A.A. degree in Theatre and Communications and will be receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Film Studies in December of 2012. I have experience with children ranging from grades K-12th. I have been a Teacher's Aide since 2004 and a Summer Counselor since 2006. I am also bilingual and although it is not on my list for tutor availability, I do have experience in the language barriers concerning English and the Spanish language. I am Cuban American and wouldn't trade that for the world. It allows me to enjoy the cultures around me as well as given me a thirst to explore new ones. I look forward to helping someone else do that same!
Teaching Style
I don't like to tell you what to learn, but rather guide you to see it for yourself, allowing you to come to the right conclusion on your own. Helping you teach yourself, so that when the time comes for that test or that epic paper, you will know you can do it because you know it.
My Hobbies
I truly enjoy reading and writing in my spare time. I love to cook, and could only wish that there was an option to help someone learn how to cook. I love to swim and to dance, and consider both art forms to be brilliant for multitasking in exercise and cultural awareness.
