Experience Summary
After moving to Miami from Germany in 2006, I've worked and a private tutor of the German language. I'm experienced in teaching elementary school children as well as adults. I helped my students in the German program at Sunset elementary to improve their grades. I gave customized classes to adult professionals who had to relocate to Germany and gave conversation classes to adults interested to freshen-up their German.
Since 2010 I have worked as an English teacher at the private school with various challenges. ( TOEFL & GED Essay , citizenship interview preparation, conversation classes etc. )
Teaching Style
I taylor my lessons according to student needs. I prefer the natural exposure to language. Grammar can be incorporated into the lessons and it does not have to be boring .
I prefer guided conversation to standard lessons as the best way to learn a new language.
