• Managed homepage manufacture of the introduction database of the Non-linear electronic circuit curriculum using HTML and Dreamweaver
RESEARCH & PROJECTS
• Developed a novel biventricular active mesh model to measure cardiac volumes and geometry in left and right ventricles and applied it to pathologies such as mitral regurgitation and pulmonary hypertension; Work published in ISMRM11, ISMRM12;
• Analyzed the difference of geometry in physiological and pathological left ventricular volume overload using various statistical models and image analysis techniques;
• Analyzed the significance of left ventricular remodeling in patients with severe mitral regurgitation before and after surgery, suggested that the extent of remodeling was not reflected by the standard echocardiographic measurements; Manuscript published in Circulation;
• Developed an intensity based automatic registration algorithm for short and long-axis images of cine cardiac MRI and validated it in both cardiac CT images and MRI images;
• Constructed a classification index to distinguish myocardial infarction patients with and without diabetes based on their MRI-derived geometrical and mechanical functional parameters using four classic and advanced classification algorithms.
