Experience Summary
Hi, my name is Abiodun ("Abi" for short) and I am a double major student in Mathematics and Computer Science at Modesto Junior College. I've been tutoring independently throughout my high school years, and now I work as a tutor for the Modesto Junior College Math Drop-in Center.
The one and only reason I'm majoring in Mathematics is because of my love for the subject; as a tutor, I not only share the knowledge of the subject I love deeply, I teach my students shortcuts and highlight the over-arching concepts, rather than have them watch me solve problems and try to copy my every move. My methods not only give my students a better grade, it gives a deeper understanding of the subject.
Furthermore, I am a student just like you; I understand your struggles, and will work with your schedule. My job is to create successful students, and I will do what is necessary to meet that objective.
