Experience Summary
I graduated from Purdue University with a Civil Engineering degree in 2003. This degree required an extensive amount of Math and Science course work. I am currently employed in the consulting industry. My job requires me to do a lot of Public Education and Outreach- to make Engineering and complicated environmental issues understandable to the general public. I thouroughly enjoy this and love to make learning fun, interesting, and relatable to real world topics. I have experience tutoring for School on Wheels working with k-12 students on a variety of course work. I also tutored my little sister thorughout junior high and high school. She always tells me I was the only teacher that was patient enough to make math and science make sense to her. I never thought twice-I just truly want people to find learning math and science fun and interesting.
