Experience Summary
After earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education, I completed my teacher certification requirements, and became a certified public school teacher. Prior to becoming a classroom teacher, I have tutored English Language Arts and Math at a weekend Supplementary Educational Program. I have also tutored Elementary and Middle school age children who were home bound through an in-home-tutoring educational program. I have developed my Mathematical and English Language Arts Pedagogy through my experience working with struggling readers, and students having difficulty with Mathematical concepts. I have also developed and learned Mathematical, Reading, and Writing skills through attending and participating in Educational workshops.
Teaching Style
My love of teaching & tutoring derived from a love of learning. Considering that students learn at a different pace and have different styles of learning, I will do my best to differentiate lessons to meet the students’ preferred learning style. I believe strongly that students can develop into independent, engaged and active learners. I strongly believe in facilitating students learning. My goal is to provide student with a leaning environment that continuously creates opportunities for learning, where students can be active and collaborative learners.

Reading, volunteering, enjoying visual and performing arts activities.
