Experience Summary
I am currently an electroincs instructor at UAF Community and Technical College. I have over 100 published technical articles, and am the recipient of the William Orr Technical Writing Award, conferred by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). I have just written a major book, "Radio Science for the Radio Amateur" to be published by ARRL later this year. For nearly ten years I was a development engineer for the UCLA department of Plasma Physics, and have worked in a number of different types of laboratories.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is hands-on wherever applicable, such as in a laboratory envioronment. I use a great deal of humor too, and expect lots of student participation.
