RYNJ (YESHIVA OF NJ) - River Edge, NJ 2011 - Hebrew Teacher Teaching Hebrew to middle-school students. Based on the belief that successful students enjoy intellectual activities I implemented some methods and projects to create enjoyable learning experience. Great importance in Hebrew language is not only reading and writing but also comprehension and developing of spoken vocabulary and verbal skills. Accomplishments: • Developed special programs for 2 leveled groups. • Used technology to make the programs interesting to students -students used computers for some of the projects, you-tube and so. • Very good communication with parents, students and school administration. THINKZONE, LLC 2006 -2011 Founder and CEO ThinkZone provides thinking game activities to schools and senior centers. Accomplishments: • Opened the business in 2006 and established programs in 8 school districts and 7 private schools generating annual revenue of $40,000 by 2009. • Expanded the business to offer services for senior centers in 2010 and sold two programs within one year. • Managed a business that involved 10 instructors that provided services at 15 locations every week during the spring of 2010. PARDESS JEWISH DAY SCHOOL - Scottsdale, AZ 2004 -2011 Hebrew Teacher Teaching Hebrew to advanced classes students grades 3-8 for the last years. I set high but reasonable expectations for academic achievement and success for each grade level and for each student, and had a great success. Accomplishments: • Coordinated some of the holidays programs and Hebrew curriculum. • As part of a team we developed special programs for all age groups. • Connected and shared educational ideas with other Jewish school in some projects. • Used technology to make the programs interesting to students -students used computers for some of the projects, you-tube and so. • Planned and organized training for our Hebrew teachers. • As part of a team we created procedures and standards for evaluation/ progress of students. • I had a very good communication with parents, students and school administration.
