Larry has a degree in visual design from Auburn University. He worked as an advertising agency art director and had his own agency in Atlanta, GA where he served as president and creative director for over 20 years. He has participated in over 180 juried art shows. His work has appeared in Art Collector magazine and he just received a third place award in painting at the 2012 Coconut Grove Art Festival in Miami.
Teaching Style
First and foremost Larry wants you to make learning to paint fun. Larry's specialty is landscapes, color theory and playing Do Wop music. Larry teaches both oil and acrylic painting. Larry brings a strong teaching dynamic to the studio/classroom, while fostering an encouraging learning environment. Larry prefers to work with oils on stretched canvas. My Hobbies
Larry's first love (besides his wife Pam) has always been oil painting. In 1998 Larry began focusing more of his creative attention to oil painting. He and his wife Pam spend most of their days painting, showing their art in the nation's top art festivals, and teaching others in their studio.
