Experience Summary
I am currently in the Masters of Fine Arts program at Arizona State University in the field of Creative Writing and am pursuing my degree in Fiction. I currently teach English Composition at the University level at Arizona State University (a total of 9 classes so far) and I also teach creative writing at ASU, as well. I have a bachelors degree in English Literature and an ESL Certification from Oxford Seminars.
Teaching Style
Something that I've learned from teaching English Composition and Creative Writing is that everyone learns differently and in order to really help someone learn you need to, as the teacher, be willing to try multiple teaching methods with your students. I am more concerned with students grasping a concept than I am about grades. I am passionate about teaching and about the subjects I teach and this is reflected in my teaching style with a positive, upbeat attitude about the subjects at hand.
