Experience Summary

I have taught over 47 German language, culture, and history courses for 13 years in higher education (at Portland State University, Oregon, the University of Texas at Austin, and Berea College, Kentucky). I have also been teaching community education courses in German at Lane Community College in Eugene for 2 years. Since 2005, I have worked as a professional technical translator and received certification by the American Translators Association for English into German in 2008. Teaching is my passion and I look forward to helping you deepen your knowledge and appreciation of the German language, culture, and history.
