Experience Summary
I hold a bachelor degree in Finance with advanced graduate study in Accounting. I have passed the Uniform CPA exam and have over two decades of experience in private industry performing in a financial management capacity. In addition, I have taught accounting in a post secondary academic environment.
Teaching Style
I believe in foundation. Acquiring an education, whether general or specialized, is a process of building from the ground up. The understanding and related application of fundamentals must be mastered before advanced instruction can be offered and assimilated, absorbed. Proper accounting for transactions which ultimately lights the path for business success is rooted in theory. My teaching focus is in understanding the accepted theory supporting the application of technique.
