Experience Summary
As a graduate of Hofstra University with a degree in Early and Elementary Education, I have decided to pursue a Master's Degree in TESOL in order to teach English language learners. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 2009 and am currently working on a Master's Degree at Queens College. I love working with children of all ages, and am currently employed in the Freeport School District. During the last few years I have tutored elementary aged students in reading, writing, and math.
Teaching Style
I have a knack for working with children of all ages. Currently I am in a 5th grade classroom, helping special education students prepare for the 5th grade assessments. My warm and enthusiastic personality will be considered an asset to your child's academic success. I am patient, understanding, and creative, which makes learning fun and enjoyable for everyone that I have worked with. My credentials and expertise will undoubtedly help your child to succeed both now and in the future. I strive to make a lasting impression with all the students I have the opportunity to work with.
