Teaching Style
During my tutoring experiences I have had the opportunity to work with students who have a variety of backgrounds, skill levels and learning styles. It is often helpful to identify each student's learning style, either through direct observation or simple tests. Once I know a student's learning style I can easily adjust my teaching style to compliment the student, allowing for a maximized learning experience. For most students, especially those struggling with a subject, a stress-free environment is most conducive to learning. For more advanced students, a quicker pace and greater challenges are advantageous. Generally, though, I am patient, easy going, and considerate, while maintaining a focus on my student's development.
