Experience Summary
By working in a wide variety of fields, from film production to politics, I have a breadth of knowledge from working with many different types of students. I was once a student being tutored for the GRE, so I have been on each side of the desk. For two years I taught workshops on public speaking and speech writing. Before that I earned my Bachelor's degree in Writing, and had to do so through intimate writing workshops understanding the import of one-on-one teacher-student interaction. I am a writer, I write every day, and teaching is the dedication to other writers; I have that dedication.
Teaching Style
Teaching is the solemn devotion to a writer's voice. I believe in inspiring young students to write from their hearts, with a keen interest in being grammatically correct. My goal is to empower students to achieve in the classroom, in test-taking, in their every day lives. Patience and understanding is the key to tutoring; I have that patience and I understand what it is to be a tutored student. I will create a comfortable environment for all students to achieve their dreams.
