Experience Summary
I hold a Master's degree in
Education and am certified to teach Literacy Education in New York State. When I was living in Buffalo,NY I substitute taught several different subjects for over two years.
I also took a job as a personal assistant/nanny to a family in Great Neck allowed me the opportunity to
familiarize myself with Long lsland while continuing to work with children tutoring them for a year. Since then I have been subbing in South Country and Sachem school districts for all subjects.
Teaching Style
Dynamic and stimulating teaching
environments motivate students. I am confident in my ability to create such an environment, utilizing a
variety of current teaching philosophies and techniques to encourage my students to involve themselves in
the learning process. .
Having a positive impact on a child's life is the greatest reward a teacher can experience. I consider
myself a creative and energetic teacher, highly organized, and with a strong dedication to the field of
literacy education. I hope that I will have the opportunity to continue my teaching career through tutoring.
