Experience Summary
I was chosen to be a Mentor as a Relations Manager at Nelnet. I was in this role for three years. I was chosen because of leadership, education finance knowledge, trustworthiness, and experience in dealing with people. Because of my performance as a Relations Manager and Mentor, I was always rated as the top employee in my department.
I was a Navy Instructor for three years and was chosen because of my experience as a Naval Officer. I taught leadership, management, shipboard duties, and administration to more Junior Officers. I received the highest recommendation from my three years in this position and had over 4,000 hours of teaching.
Teaching Style
I love helping others reach their goals. I have the ability to change my teaching style to ensure each student assigned to me absorbs and learns the subject being taught. There is no better feeling than taking a student who may be struggling and giving them the tools to learn the material and succeed with a passing grade and other goals set.
