Experience Summary
As an international student, I knew how hard it was to adapt to different environments especially as a child. Before acquiring my bachelors of fine arts in Studio arts I was a private tutor to children, like me, who were expected to move to a new country and had to learn a new language.
My fluency in 6 languages made it very easy for me to meet that depends of a wider population of international students.
After earning my degree from Parsons the new school for design, I set out to help international student with a passion for art and design. As a private tutor I help them with both language barriers and portfolio developments.
My multi cultural background has inevitably made me a wonderful part of the private tutoring world.
Teaching Style
I believe that teaching is much broader than one often thinks. Teaching a language os also introducing a new culture. As a foreign language teacher I believe in incorporating music, art and other creative cultural attributes to the classroom.
My passion for working with children has helped children believe in themselves and in their potential.
