Experience Summary
I am a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Engineering. Not only have I excelled in math and science throughout the educational process, I also did very well in all other subjects, never receiving less than a 'B' letter grade in any class. More importantly, however, I enjoy passing on to others the knowledge that I have gained. I have had the privilege of tutoring students in Physics, Chemistry, and all levels of mathematics up to Trigonometry. In addition to tutoring other students, I have also had great success tutoring 4 of my own children in a variety of subjects.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with children of all ages. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I would love to be a part of your child's academic success. Not only am I patient, easy going, and kind but I am determined to do whatever it takes to get your child to stretch for their maximum potential. Although learning math and science require doing practice problems, I will be looking for the best way to teach and motivate the child according to their natural tendencies. The right teacher can make a huge difference in the education of children. I pledge to do my best in all of my students' lives.
