Experience Summary
I have been fascinated with tutoring for the past three years ago. I began tutoring one of the professors at the University of IL at Chicago in a foreign language. Since then, I have been tutoring various age groups from eight years old to fifty four years old. I received my Bachelor degree in Biology from University of IL at Chicago. While studying Biology, I was able to take various courses in science such as Math, Physics, General and Organic Chemistry, Physiology and biology.
Teaching Style
I believe a great teacher needs to have proper skills and talents for teaching. I learned a lot while growing up from a great teacher; my mother. My mother was a teacher for thirty years teaching elementary grades. I learned a great teacher needs to be respectful, patient and to be able to illustrate the lesson in an easy, simple way. I try to provide simple analogies for each concept. This enables the student to grasp the concept easier and faster. In addition I help my students to learn better by asking few questions about the concept. This will help them to truly understand the lesson by using their analytical thinking.
