Experience Summary
I have been teaching children with special needs for about 15 years
I am also an ABA therapist/ Shadow. Presently I am teaching primary grades with ESE students with Autism, LD, ADHD and Behaviors. I also teach Art to students in grades K--12th. Drawing, painting, Holiday crafts, wire sculpting. I provide simple and creative lessons for the students.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching. I find teaching methods that will be creative so my students are encouraged to learn. All my students learn at a different level. I provide alot of hands on teaching, which helps to motivate students. Each student has a unique way of learning, they are provided, with visuals, manipulatives, verbal prompts in order to learn the lesson being taught. Each student is on a different level, which means I need to provide individual learning techniques for each student while providing special accomodations for them.
My Hobbies
My hobbies are drawing, painting, crafts.
